Started out as an intra NIT- Trichy business plan competition in the year 2005, Ventura has clinched the title of being one of the largest Business Plan Competitions in India in terms of participation and prize money. Ventura has the distinction of having established a plan into a self-supported business in its very first year through the incubation support provided by the sponsors, TREC - STEP and Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. Organized by the Entrepreneurship Cell of NIT Trichy, Ventura aims at being the breeding house of successful entrepreneurs by bringing out the latent potential of young students.
