Established in 2005 with a spirit of enterprise being our motto, it has been a long and a eventful journey. We have been playing our part in development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem associated with the student community globally. With a variety of events under our belt we provide ample opportunities for members and non-members of our E-Cell to develop their potentials.
Mission
- To motivate students to take up the challenge of entrepreneurship, equip them with necessary skills and provide all possible assistance.
- Promote Creative thinking and expose the youth to latest innovations and entrepreneurial Success stories.
Activities
- We at E-Cell undertake the following activities to accomplish our said mission.
- Organise Guest Lectures,workshops, Panel discussions.
- TEDxTrichy - With the spirit of Ideas worth spreading, leading thinkers are invited to share what they are most passionate about.
- Genesis - Year round Guest Lecture’s by alumni of NIT Trichy
- Barcamp – Like minded people come together and discuss technology intensive and innovative projects or products
- Establish Linkages with the Industry and encourage student industry Interaction
- Start Up Internship Program - Internship opportunities provided to NITTians in startups where they can watch the company during its fledgling days, a experience that any budding entrepreneur cherishes.
- Promote innovations and help convert them into market accepted products.
- Ideas Challenge- Students come up with innovative ideas which are then mentored into products and Business plans.
